Katrina really made this place for us. She's such a gracious host, knows the neighborhood and Rome well, and has ideas for all kinds of interests. She even told us about the outdoor vintage market nearby that was on that Sunday, apparently the biggest in Europe. Grazie, Katrina! We've stayed in plenty of hotels and rentals on our trips to Italy, and Stileroma has been our favorite. The apartment is in Trastevere, close to the airport train, and within walking distance of sights that don't draw the usual crowds. It felt safe for families. Each room has working AC, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is large with reliable hot water, and the logia/patio is a great spot to relax after a day out. There's also a working elevator, and Katrina provides the key for the lobby. As a New Yorker, I'd say stay here instead of in the downtown core with all the tourists and criminals. We wholeheartedly recommend Stileroma.

I slept really well here. Even with the train station fairly close, the double balcony doors and shutters kept out both the noise and the light. The room's a good size, the shower's nice, and there's a shared kitchenette. It's about a 25-minute walk into central Rome, or roughly 15 minutes by bus. A good choice if you want some quiet while spending a few days in the city.

Katrina was a fantastic host, always happy to help and full of good tips. We rented bikes, which turned out to be a great way to explore the city. The room was clean and cozy, the bed comfortable, and we spent lots of time on the cute balcony. The location worked well for us, close to both Trastevere and Testaccio. We'd happily stay again.

I've been back four times, and Stile Roma has been great on every visit. The host is lovely and attentive, and the apartment is very clean and feels like a home away from home. Getting here from Fiumicino by train is easy, with Trastevere station only a four-minute walk away. The center is close, too. You can take a long, pleasant walk along the river or catch a bus that reaches the Colosseo in 10 minutes. There's a small supermarket in the same block, plus a cafe and several restaurants just a quick walk away.
