We'd booked the Romantica suite after seeing all the great reviews online, and we were really glad we did. It was more than just a room, with a fully equipped little kitchenette so we could make our own meals. The free Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked perfectly, and the double-glazed windows kept street noise out. Signora Carla and her son Giorgio replied quickly and thoroughly to our emails, and it was easy to talk with them since they speak English well. Signora Carla also arranged parking nearby when we rented a car at the airport. Driving and parking in Rome seemed so stressful that we chose buses, other public transport, and taxis instead. The place is in an elegant part of Rome, outside the downtown area but still within walking distance of Via Veneto and Villa Borghese. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

The room is on the small side, so pack light. The TP-Link wireless router wasn't working well with our iPhones. The host was very helpful and explained which trains, buses, and trams would make it easier to get around the city.

Carla made us feel right at home and was easy to reach whenever we had questions. She also shared loads of useful information about Rome. Villa Pariolina is a cosy apartment with the essentials, in a quiet neighborhood with good bus service into the center. We had a very pleasant stay during our Rome trip. Johanne and Jean

The price was a lovely surprise, especially considering what this B&B offers. We found prosecco and even ice cream in the fridge, and really, it seemed to have everything. The owners were courteous and helpful, and the place itself is a beautiful patrician residence in Parioli with a wonderful atmosphere and quality service. We came to Rome for my daughter's studies at LUISS and couldn't have asked for more. A 10+.
