Suites 51

Suites 51 Hotel felt very secure, and the location was hard to beat. Supermercato Pam is about a minute away on foot, St Pietro train station takes around five minutes, and the Vatican City is roughly a ten minute walk. Restaurants and cafes are also about five minutes away. The rooms are roomy, spotless, and have the comforts you’d expect, including soft beds, fast Wi-Fi, and nice bathrooms. Some rooms have city views. The style is modern but still feels warm, and the gym and spa offer somewhere to unwind. It’s also easy to get to attractions, shops, and nightlife, while the hotel itself stays peaceful. The staff were professional and especially helpful, whether with dining suggestions or travel arrangements. Suites 51 Hotel makes a comfortable, stylish base for a trip, and I’d recommend staying here.

Really nice.

The rooms were quite good, but getting inside was confusing. I couldn't figure out how to enter, and without another man arriving with the keys, I think I would've been stuck there for more than an hour.

The self check-in was simple, with the staff sending clear directions before I arrived. The place is in a lovely building on the fifth floor, and there’s an elevator. It’s also only a few minutes’ walk from the Vatican. Inside, the renovated rooms have modern furniture and all the comforts. Mine had a big TV, a capsule coffee machine, and a little minibar with two cold bottles of water. There was also a basket of snacks and plum cake. The bathroom was lovely, especially the walk-in shower. I didn’t take any photos, but it was well worth staying, even for just one night. I’d recommend it if you’re visiting the Vatican or nearby areas.
