Hotel Tempio di Pallade

The staff were friendly and helpful. The reception girl helped us, and the restaurant staff were amazing. There was no kettle or mugs for making tea or coffee in the room, but there was a kettle and disposable cups at the lobby tea station. A coffee vending machine was available, along with wine, drinks, and ice cream at fair prices. We booked a family room. Compared with other places we'd stayed, it was cramped, though the bathroom was spacious and had hot water around the clock. There was no real view from the window, just another building. Still, a wonderful hotel.

Our room was dirty and had no soundproofing, so we could hear everything. It was a complete waste of money, and the staff were incredibly rude. The lack of hospitality was so bad I won't even comment on it; they shouldn't be working in the service industry. I've used this travel app for years, and this was the worst experience. It's a shame the hotel is listed here. I didn't check the Google reviews before booking, and now I can confirm they're all true. We didn't get a room like the pictures; we were put in the worst possible room, in the basement, despite the rooms looking completely normal when we booked. To make matters worse, it wasn't even inside the hotel. The receptionist walked us to a neighboring building. Avoid this place at all costs.

I stayed for 4 days in November 2025. For a budget hotel, it was good, and I'd give the property and service 5 stars. The rooms are small and compact, but the bed was comfortable and there was a handy wardrobe for clothes and other things. Breakfast was a good continental spread. The central location makes it easy to reach the good parts of Rome by bus or metro from nearby Termini and Manzoni stations. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Take care at night: a few blocks down toward the station, some shady people loiter around. It's better not to walk from Termini to the hotel. Taking 5/8 from Termini is the best option, and walking from the bus stop to the hotel is fine even at night. No need to worry too much about safety, just use normal precautions and stay aware of people around you.

The rooms feel comfortable and welcoming, and there's an elevator to reach them. Breakfast is very good and served every morning. The staff are friendly and respectful toward guests. The hotel is close to Rome's central terminal.
