Tempo Lento

A quiet spot with nicely spacious rooms and art-inspired decor. The shared kitchen area has coffee machines, a fridge, and snacks, and there were more tea, coffee, and snacks in our room. Because of the COVID rules, Fedora gave us bread and croissants packed to take away for breakfast. Staff were lovely. It’s a few minutes from a metro stop, or around a 20-minute walk south of the Colosseum. I’d definitely recommend it.

We booked the whole Guesthouse for our group and it worked out perfectly. The rooms were clean and well looked after, and there was a good selection of tea, coffee, and breakfast things. There’s a supermarket nearby for essentials, and Fedora can suggest places to eat if you’re stuck. The restaurants, bars, and cafes around here were great and cheaper than in the city centre, which was a real bonus. It’s easy to reach central Rome too. We walked to the Colosseum on our first day, then took taxis for the other trips. They cost just €8-15 depending on where we were going, and worked better for our group than the metro. Fedora was brilliant from the time we booked until she said goodbye in person at checkout. We’ll absolutely stay here again. All the best from your Australian friends, and thank you, Fedora.

A pleasant spot to stay while visiting Rome.

The decor inside looked new and was nicely done, and the beds were okay. The AC worked properly, housekeeping was satisfactory, and the staff were sincere and great with their hospitality. The price is very competitive. Many thanks to the lady for looking after us and organizing everything so well. I strongly recommend it.
