The private outdoor terrazza was a lovely spot for breakfast, and mine was included at no charge at a bar downstairs. Even with seven sets of windows and lots of daylight, the LEDs kept the suite bright too. The neighbors were quiet, so nothing disturbed me overnight. The mattress was very comfortable, with brand new bedding and pillows, nicer than beds in many 4 star hotels. Everything was spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere. I've visited Rome more than 20 times in the last 15 years, mostly for work, and The Chic Suite is where I'll stay from now on. It has a modern feel with an authentic Roman touch, and the price is incredible for the neighborhood. Check in was easy, and the owners were accommodating. The rooms had REAL strong air conditioning, free super fast wifi, and USB charging ports built in beside the bed. The strict no smoking setup made me feel like a VIP. There's a taxi stand a 2 minute walk away, plus plenty of excellent restaurants on the same block. The owner speaks perfect English and was always available, even better than a hotel concierge. The newly renovated apartment is in a charming Rome neighborhood, a short walk from the attractions. I was traveling alone on business for two nights and didn't need an expensive hotel with every amenity, this suited me perfectly. Two couples could easily share the place and split the cost, and there's another private apartment next door for groups of more than four. The owner was also happy to arrange extra cleaning during my stay, which I appreciated because I like to cook. This is The Chic Suite itself, not a similar room 20 minutes away. The owners are a young newlywed couple from Rome who love traveling the world and made it an investment with their family, so they know how to make your stay exceptional. It felt like a home away from home. I can't wait to return. 10 out of 10 stars.
