The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and we felt looked after the whole time. We loved celebrating my 30th birthday at The Social Hub Rome. In January it was quieter, which suited us, and walking back each evening felt like returning to a little oasis away from central Rome’s bustle. The area has a student feel and lots of small places to discover, a nice change from the tourist-heavy centre. We enjoyed the food and drinks at the restaurant and bar, though we didn’t sit down for a meal there. Berbere Pizza is right next door, which made finding dinner after a long travel day easy. The room had what we needed. It’s fairly basic, so it works well if you mostly need somewhere to sleep between exploring. One thing to know: the rooftop was closed throughout our winter stay, and that wasn’t clear when booking. I suppose we could have guessed, but coming from Scotland, Rome in January felt like summer to us! We’d definitely return and recommend it.

San Lorenzo feels lively and local, and it took about 25 minutes to walk to Termini. Tram 3 and bus 105 also connect the area well. I’d happily stay at The Social Hub Rome again. The building and shared spaces are strikingly modern, more like a corporate campus than a classic hotel. Students work on laptops and business travellers use the meeting rooms, giving the place a nice buzz. The gym was a real highlight, well equipped for both keeping active on a short trip and more serious workouts. On-site laundry was convenient too. My room was clean and well kept, with housekeeping arriving on time. The bed was comfortable, the TV was good for relaxing, and the desk was just right for handling a few emails.

I was promised a special rate for a second visit by email after a stay that fell below acceptable standards, with poor room hygiene and no response to my emails or requests. The offer was later withdrawn. It seemed tied to removing a booking rating I’d posted honestly, along with photos showing how dirty the floor was. Very disappointing from The Social Hub chain and Enzo Lettieri, who handled it. I ended up at Citizen Hotel instead. It cost more, but the service was on another level and they kept their promises, so it was worth it.

The outdoor space was unlike anything I’d seen, with a distinctive design and plants everywhere. Swings, tables, and loungers sit in a huge green area that feels like a botanical oasis. Inside, the hotel was cozy, modern, and tastefully designed, probably the best I’ve stayed in despite having been to quite a few. The staff were kind and upbeat, and arranged the higher floor we requested so we could enjoy a lovely view. Housekeeping was impeccable, and breakfast had a wide choice of very fresh ingredients. We honestly have no complaints. Thank you for such a lovely stay! ❤️

Great bar service, good-value drinks, and friendly bartenders. I only wish they stayed open until at least midnight. The gym was perfect and the pool amazing. The rooms were clean every day, and Azif deserves a big thank you for keeping ours that way. Outstanding service all around. Definitely coming back, highly recommended.
