We had two rooms, so the kids could sleep in beds instead of on sofas, which was much more comfortable for them. The place felt peaceful and warm, and breakfast was really good. Svetlana was kind and helped us with the information we asked for. We felt safe in the area and could walk to the Vatican and Saint Angelo Castle, then cross the bridge and continue into the city. Buses and the metro are about ten blocks away and easy to reach.

The room was passable and covered the basics, but breakfast was awful and the quality was so poor it shouldn't be advertised. The service was the biggest problem. The woman working there was unfriendly, seemed uninterested in helping, and made no effort to communicate. She gave me the impression that guests' experience didn't matter to her. I hope she's the owner or someone who can make decisions, because if not, she is doing serious damage to the business. There were other frustrating details. I was charged the taxes in cash, with no card option, and it felt almost like I had to stay in order to pay them. I messaged her on WhatsApp and got no reply, not even a simple acknowledgment. This feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel. I'd look at other places nearby. A well-rated Airbnb would probably be a better experience.

The rooms and dining area are beautiful, and there are cafes nearby. It's very close to the Vatican, with excellent public transport connections. I'll definitely come back.
