The host was kind and helpful, and the location was convenient, near the metro. The room was a bit run down, with marks on the walls. It was okay, but felt overpriced. This was a last minute trip, though, and there weren't many better options left. Watch how you use the shower. I had to stand in the right corner to keep water from splashing all over the bathroom, and some of my clothes got wet.

Prisca made us feel looked after as soon as we arrived on Monday afternoon after the long drive from Sorrento. She helped us take our bags up in the lift, showed us the room, explained how to get around Rome, and shared tips for the things to see during our six days. She was wonderful, and thank you to both Prisca and Manuela. We loved our stay at the Tinker Bell. The room was spacious and clean, with air conditioning that we really needed in the hot, humid weather. The bathroom and shower were clean, and Prisca brought fresh towels whenever we asked. The little do it yourself breakfast buffet had a lovely selection of cakes, toast, yogurt, coffee, and juice. WiFi at the Tinker Bell was superfast by Aussie standards. It's in Prati, a safe area that doesn't feel touristy, with lots of local restaurants. The Basilica is about ten minutes away, the bus stop is just around the corner, and the metro is a ten minute walk. You can get public transport tickets at the Tabacchini nearby.

Manuela welcomed us when we arrived and gave us great suggestions for sights, especially places to find the best pizza and ice cream in Rome. She was so nice and gentle. We stayed for a weekend with my boyfriend and found the room really comfortable. The furniture is new, and the bathroom has a lovely design, including a shower with chromatherapy. Breakfast was served in an intimate, pleasant living room. The B&B is near Vatican City and the metro makes the rest of Rome easy to reach. The website photos match what you actually get. I highly recommend this place, where the TinkerBell magic feels real :-D
