Trastevere Suites - Top Collection

The room was spacious and clean, and the location made it easy to reach several public transport routes. I arrived after the staff had gone for the day, but their instructions, complete with photos, were clear and detailed. They were also quick to respond and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do nearby. I loved staying at Trastevere Suites!

The room was lovely and very clean, with air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, tea and coffee, towels, a hairdryer, shampoo and a hot tub. It’s a little outside the city for a short sightseeing trip, but would suit a longer stay in a less touristy part of Rome, surrounded by beautiful restaurants and markets. There’s a bus stop across the road, and turning left from the hotel takes you past several cafe restaurants to a tourist information centre over the bridge.

There are plenty of good places to eat nearby, and most of the sights worth seeing are an easy walk away. The location sits roughly between the Vatican and the Colosseum. Our room was spacious, nicely decorated, and very comfortable, and the host was warm and helpful. Definitely recommend it 👌

The hot water was the main problem. I tried to shower around midnight, gave up because it was cold, tried again at 7am, then stuck with a lukewarm shower at 9. The rooms are lovely and stylish, the shower itself is roomy, and the administrators were friendly and helpful, so it was a real shame about the water. The building is just inside Rome's 271AD - 275AD Aurelian walls, on the convenient number 8 tram line, with good connections to Piazza Venezia and Trastevere Station. One small annoyance: the key is attached to the lightswitch dongle and you have to lock or unlock the door from inside. The lights go out before you can get the key into the lock. If cold showers don't bother you, or you're visiting in August, these rooms might suit you.
