The most alarming part was that my young son developed a bacterial infection on his hands, which I believe was caused by the unhygienic conditions. We had to get medical care and checked out the very next morning. The beds were unclean, the air conditioner never worked despite repeated requests, and noise continued past 3:00 AM, so sleep was impossible. Cleanliness overall was severely lacking. The iron was broken, the elevator was out of service, and the room window wouldn’t open, leaving no air circulation. Taxis also had trouble reaching the street, especially with luggage. The property didn’t look like the online photos, and the service was unhelpful throughout. It wasn’t suitable or relaxing and certainly wasn’t worth the price. They also insisted on a tax payment that I thought should have been included in the booking, which wasn’t fair. I visit Rome often, and this was one of my worst stays. I wouldn’t recommend it under any circumstances. Read reviews before booking. Be careful, they’re scammers.

Stay away, I wouldn’t recommend it. The AC never worked, and nothing was done after several complaints. Hot water was unavailable about half the time, and staff ignored requests to fix that too.

The room was small but okay, and it was on the first floor with no lift. Our flight was delayed, and they charged us 50 euros for late check-in, plus a 14-euro city fee. Thank God we’d only booked one night. I’m changing rooms today.

We never got to stay. We booked all six rooms nearly a year ahead to get a good price, using three different people’s credit cards. Less than two months before the trip, the hotel canceled every room, claiming the cards were invalid. They were all valid and in good standing. We think the prices had doubled and the hotel canceled so it could sell the rooms to other guests for more. Only one of us got a cancellation confirmation, but when the other two checked, their rooms had also been canceled. We contacted the hotel to explain the cards were fine and try to resolve it, but they wouldn’t reinstate the reservations.

I’d give two stars for the location. The other three might have been earned with even one apology, but there wasn’t one throughout the whole process. The plumbing in our room was broken on the first day, so we couldn’t check in at the usual time. After we waited around, they sent us to another room. The next morning we had to check out at the normal time so we could move into the original room, which was much smaller than the photos and nowhere near as advertised.
