Una Finestra su Monti

The location was nice, and the place had AC and Wi-Fi, but I was disappointed after reading so many positive reviews. The bathroom was awful: the shower head was extremely loud and seemed about to come off, while the shower and toilet drains growled whenever water ran and for 10 minutes afterward. It wasn't clean, as the photos show, and the safe didn't work. The rooms are so close that you can hear your neighbors, and they can hear you. Since there's no 24-hour reception, they kept texting and calling a week before my stay to ask exactly when I'd arrive. I couldn't know that far ahead, especially with Italian trains often running late. This feels more like a studio rental than a hotel. It could be great, but it needs work.

The rooms and kitchen were fully equipped, and the place was neat and good value for money. The location is extremely central, with easy access to Trevi and about four Indian restaurants nearby.

The place was spacious, stylish, and clean, and Giulia was excellent about replying to my emails before the trip. After cleaning the room, they kept the mini-fridge stocked with water, which was especially nice since American hotels usually charge for it. Great location!

The building has an elevator, which is handy with luggage, and it's close to Roma termini if you need the train. You can walk to the main sights too, with Trevi about 10-15 minutes away. The Wi-Fi was weak in some parts of our room. Rome is busy, so nights can be noisy, and with the rooms so close together, you can hear other guests coming and going.
