The woman who looked after us and our room had a very sweet dog. Sending her our love too. We were generally very satisfied, despite a few minor issues, and will definitely recommend you to friends in Turkey who are thinking of visiting Rome. Thank you. Grazie :)

The location was good for getting to the attractions, but I felt unsafe with our belongings. There were cameras in the hallway and several open doors. I had the impression there might be fake cameras inside the room or access by people who shouldn’t have had it. There are four apartments on the third floor and no staff physically present. The apartment block required four or five keys to get through the lift and into the room, but the door didn’t lock at night. The room had nice finishes, but it was the size of a hamster cage. There was little storage and no full-length mirror. A bottle of water was provided, and the WiFi worked well, though its more-than-20-character password, with multiple capital letters, was very difficult to enter and connect to. Communication was dreadful. I asked to extend the booking and asked how check-in and checkout worked, but got no reply. They didn’t ask for or process passport and city tax information either. The only instructions I eventually received were to leave the door open and put the keys to the side. Staff were extremely unresponsive.

They canceled our reservation as soon as we walked into the lobby, saying they’d found bugs in the room. I saw your reply about water issues, but we had no water problem. This was about bugs. Please read carefully. I had to contact Booking myself and spend an hour and a half trying to find somewhere else, despite having only 24 hours in Rome. Relocating in that area in mid-July, during high season, isn’t quick or easy. That’s why we book hotels in advance. Nobody from the hotel helped or even called to ask whether we’d managed to relocate. My experience with this hotel was a disaster. Period.

A few hours before check-in, my flight was delayed, so I asked about arriving late. I was told then that our two-night reservation had been canceled because of “water damage.” I’d had no notice, even though I checked that my contact details on the booking platform were current. Their representative was disrespectful and unhelpful. I was left in Rome with my husband, without a place to stay for the last two nights of our honeymoon and on my birthday. A staff member insulted me over WhatsApp, then deleted the message. They said the cancellation wasn’t their problem and claimed they’d contacted the booking agent, who supposedly contacted me. I’d received nothing. Other guests’ reviews mention cancellations for things like bugs. I strongly suggest avoiding the same experience and booking a reputable place with good customer service. Quite possibly the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Zero stars. Don’t make my mistake and book here.
