The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom had two sinks and even two showers side by side. We loved sitting on the little balcony with the complimentary coffee each morning. Paying €5 per night for air conditioning was absolutely worth it, especially since that option isn’t available everywhere. There’s a metro station nearby, St. Peter’s Square is under a half-hour walk away, and a pharmacy and grocery store are close too. Gianluca was a wonderful host, kind and quick to respond on WhatsApp. He shared good restaurant tips when we arrived and even helped retrieve an earring I’d dropped down the bathroom sink. We enjoyed the stay so much that we’d have added a couple more nights if the place hadn’t already been booked. We’d look it up again if we return to Rome.

The apartment was clean, pleasant, and very quiet, with plenty of shops and good restaurants nearby. It’s an easy walk to the Vatican and metro, and from the metro you can get to Rome’s old town without much trouble.

They kindly let me leave my bags there for the day when I arrived early, which was really handy. The room was spotless and spacious, and the metro nearby made getting around Rome easy. Vatican Break Home was easy to find, and I had an outstanding stay with great service.

The neighborhood is lovely and quiet at night, and both the room and bathroom were comfortable and very clean. There are no window coverings, though, so I wouldn’t suggest it for families with kids. I also found the air-conditioning charge absurd, since other places I’ve stayed included it. There’s no breakfast, just black coffee by the entrance, which doesn’t really fit the Bed & Breakfast name.

The breakfast had a huge range of choices, the best I’ve come across in a hostel or B&B. The owner was very kind and helpful, the bedrooms spotless, and our private bathroom was just right. We stayed in November and had a great time. The Vatican is about a 10-15 minute walk away, while the nearby metro gets you to the town center in around 20-30 minutes. It was nice to be away from the busy tourist spots, even in the off-season. I’d recommend staying here in Rome.
