The kitchen had the basics, plus free milk, soft drinks, and ice cream. Towels were supplied, there was air conditioning, and they even left candies on the table. I stayed for two nights in summer 2018 with my parents. The place felt like a large house with three big rooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom, and our room was spacious and clean. My father left the AC running while we were out in the afternoon to keep the room cool. The owner warned us about that, and we understood. There's an extra charge for late check-in, so keep that in mind if you expect to arrive outside check-in hours. It also took a while for the bath water to get hot.

Breakfast wasn't provided on either of the two days, despite the 64 euros we paid for it. On the first day, after I contacted the owner, I was told there'd been technical problems with the booking application and that the owner hadn't been informed about the service. Three weeks later, the breakfast money still hadn't been returned. We were also asked for an extra 40 euros to store our luggage. I was travelling with my family of five, and after checking in, we were given a long list of prohibitions and penalties. Posters warning about VIDEO CONTROL were on the walls. This felt like a hostel, with three rooms in one apartment rented to different guests. The kitchen had no stove or kettle, and there were so few utensils that cooking anything wasn't really possible.

We enjoyed walking around Vatican and Roam. The atmosphere was interesting and wonderful, and it was nice to enjoy food and drinks there.
