The woman working there was super polite, and it was really close to the Vatican. It felt like home, so I definitely recommend staying here. If I come back to Rome, I'll be staying here again.

The metro is very close, and that's the only reason I'm giving this place a star. Finding it was difficult because there was no information on the door. We got into the building and had to ask the neighbors which floor the room was on. They also gave us an alternate number for the owner, since he wasn't answering his main one. He said he'd arrive in 20 minutes, but no one came after either 20 minutes or an hour. With some kind people's help, we called from different numbers. First he said he was coming, then he hung up. Another 40 minutes later, a girl arrived and took us to a different place about half a block away, without clearly explaining why we couldn't stay in that room. Speaking Italian really helped. Locals who live in the building told us this had happened to others too, though not everyone had called. If you don't want your vacation ruined, don't stay here. We only wanted a room for the night and hoped to save money, but instead we got a quest called *find the owner*.

The rooms themselves are nice, but the people running them seem very disorganized. Guests can arrive without keys and end up waiting a long time at the main entrance before they can get into their rooms. The owners really need to take better care of their guests.
