The transfers arranged for us were excellent, and the man who met us with the keys was polite and genuinely helpful. He tried hard to get the TV working, but there was still no picture. We chose the apartment for its location, but the entrance was a gloomy, dirty and bare first impression. The room itself had dirty walls, and the tiny bathroom had a hazardous step at the entrance. The sink was cracked, mold covered much of the shower base and door, and the toilet area smelled unpleasant. The mattress was very hard, and the quilt was just placed between two sheets without a cover. At night the air conditioning was too noisy to use, while street noise kept us awake until after 4 a.m. every night. People shouted as they passed, and motorcycles and cars were loud at all hours. The window seemed to offer no soundproofing. I wouldn't recommend this apartment to family or friends.

Guido was a star when we arrived, giving us a warm welcome and a helpful rundown. He quickly fixed the bathroom problem. The TV still wouldn't work despite all his efforts, but the location is so good that we'd come back.

Just across the road from Piazza Navona, the room made it easy to walk to the Pantheon, Trastevere and the Vatican. The staff were quick and helpful when we had a hot water issue.

We found it good value and would consider coming back. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and had a fridge plus a complimentary bottle of water. Lots of attractions are within walking distance. The WiFi login was unreliable, though, and outside noise at night might bother light sleepers.

Our host was brilliant and really helpful, and we had a great stay. The room was pleasant and did what we needed, though the bed felt a little firm. The location was great. I'd recommend it.
