We left after the first night. The place was noisy and uncomfortable, with a dirty corridor on the second floor where bins were kept. The stairs were so narrow that carrying luggage up them felt dangerous. In the room, the toilet was out in the corridor, its lock didn’t work properly, flushing was difficult, and the water supply was unreliable. I’m a medium size and couldn’t fit into the shower. The room itself had cheap, nasty things and no view. The owner told booking.com we hadn’t arrived and that my negative comments were about another property. I wish that had been true. I’d tell people to avoid this place.

It’s in a quiet little street with nice restaurants nearby, close to the Spanish steps. The owner is kind and quick to show up when you need something. Both the room and apartment were clean and calm. The room’s modern too, with AC that was great on warm nights. I’d recommend it 100%.

Andrea, the manager, did what he could to help, but there was only so much he could do. The owner needs to overhaul the place. The location was perfect, but the hot water was terrible. We ended up heating water in the percolator and using a pail. Dust was everywhere, including under the bed and on the curtains, and my allergies got really bad. The shower was in the bedroom, and we had to wait for the AC to be off and the room to warm up before showering. I won’t stay here again.

Right by the Spanish steps and close to lots of attractions, the location was excellent. Check-in and check-out were available 24/7, which was convenient, and our contact was friendly and very helpful.
