I’ve stayed at W Rome twice, and both times the team showed me what excellent service looks like. The location is convenient, close to the action but still quiet enough to relax. The rooms are adequate and comfortable. What really makes the place is the well managed hotel and its amazing staff, who make guests feel at ease.

What made our stay was the staff. From reception and the bellmen to breakfast service, everyone was welcoming, personal, and clearly enjoyed making guests feel special. They remembered and used our names, paid close attention to gluten-free needs, and even found a way to celebrate my birthday. Thanks to the team, we had a great stay. The hotel was the best we’ve visited on our Rome trips, with an awesome location and truly top of the line comfort in the rooms. Its design also kept out noise from the halls and outside.

For a tour group arriving by motor coach, the location is the one drawback, since coaches can’t get to the hotel. Cars and taxis have no trouble reaching the entrance, where eager staff welcome you and help make the stay pleasant. Inside, the new lifts are spacious and fast, unlike what you find at virtually all the other hotels in the area. Security felt among the best in Rome, almost like staying at the Vatican itself. A fantastic hotel and service for international travelers, especially if you want luxury, fine dining, good drinks, and helpful staff.

I had a wonderful two-night stay at W Rome. The location makes it easy to walk to all the sights. Breakfast was unreal, with the best meat and cheeses I’ve had on this trip so far. The mixologists at the bar really know their stuff, and they suggested some great nearby places to check out. If you booked through Amex, the $100 credit can go toward room service too. It comes from the restaurant downstairs and was just right for a first dinner while I was dealing with serious jet lag.
