Walker Rooms

The location was hard to beat, just around the corner from Termini station. The station itself felt like a fancy airport spread across three levels, with an impressive food court and lots to choose from. The staff were lovely, the old building had a charming little lift, and there was tea and coffee in the room. It was cleaned daily. I couldn't have asked for better.

We spent four nights at Walker rooms in Rome, mostly using the place to sleep before heading out early each morning. Getting around was easy from Termini, with trains, metros, and buses for the city or trips elsewhere, including our visit to Naples. The room was spotless, the bed was just right, the showers were warm, and clean towels were provided each day. I didn't meet staff until I was leaving, but everything we needed was there when we got back each evening. For somewhere to get a good night's sleep and a warm shower, it worked perfectly for me. I heard others mention noise, but city traffic and sirens come with staying in town.

For us, it was the best value for money. The rooms were tidy, towels and sheets got changed every day, and breakfast was decent. Staff were understanding, and it was easy to get around on foot or by public transport. I probably wouldn't pick the station area next time, though.

Really good prices for what you get. The room was very clean, and checking in was easy. The location is amazing, with easy connections to everywhere.
