The location is good, and there are other actual hotels in the area I’d try before staying here again. This was advertised as a hotel, but it didn’t feel like one. Two hours before check-in, I got an email saying there was no desk staff and asking for my arrival time. I replied but got no confirmation, so I had no idea how I’d get in or whether anyone would be there. A woman buzzed me in, and after checking in I didn’t see anyone working there during the rest of my six-day stay. The lack of staff wasn’t made clear before booking, and I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known. I also don’t understand the high ratings. The room was tiny, with only a metal rack for clothes, and the wall art was ugly and hung crooked. The peel-and-stick tiles looked cheap. The shower was broken and barely big enough for a child, so water went everywhere. The AC and lights only worked with the key card inserted. When we left, the AC shut off, and we’d return to a very hot room that took hours to cool down. One time I came back and couldn’t get into my room. There was no staff on site to help. The front entrance also had a way to open without a key, if it worked, which meant anyone off the street could get into the building. If you want a safe place where you can easily get in and out and have staff physically on site, this isn’t it.
