Roma is fabulous, and the staff here were excellent. The building is quite old, with stairs to climb before you reach the elevator. The bathroom has been remodeled, though it's very small by American standards. Bring your own toothbrushes and toothpaste when traveling to Italy.

We'd arranged to check in at 1830, but nobody was there when we arrived. Calls to the number went unanswered, and even after we got inside there was no staff. A sheet listed other numbers, but nobody picked up those either. We emailed to say we'd arrived and still hadn't heard back by the next day. The place looked like a crack den, so we left. After a very long flight, this was the last thing we needed. Avoid at all costs.

The man we dealt with was nice, and the place is close to the roma termini station. But on check-in day, we were sent to a different place around the corner. The room looked old, and it was completely different from what I'd booked online. Nobody explained why or gave us a reason. They shouldn't deceive people.

For the price, the location near the central train station makes sense. There were some refreshments in the room, though the bathroom was a little small. The major sights do take a bit of walking to reach.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were nice and courteous. It's also easy to get to the tourist center from here.
