The room was tidy and clean, and the host was friendly and polite. It’s very close to the Vatican and the train station. There’s no reception, but the owner contacts you with instructions for getting in. Our four-person room had a small fridge, cups, teaspoons and a kettle; the shower was very good, and shower gel, shampoo and towels were provided. You have to pay the tourist tax in cash. For breakfast, you collect a croissant and coffee from a nearby coffee shop. Highly recommend.

We booked the family room for four, with a double bed and bunk beds. It was spacious, had an attached bathroom, and came with a small refrigerator and kettle. The apartment building is about a 10-minute walk from the Vatican. There’s no front desk, so contact the hotel or owner before arriving to arrange the keys and details. Breakfast is Italian style, a croissant with coffee.

The owner was extremely helpful and pleasant. We felt safe in the Prati district and could walk to the Vatican. The room was clean and pleasant, and there’s a very good fresh food market nearby, though there are no cooking facilities. Bus 492 is your best bet for getting around.

The neighborhood was nice and quiet, with plenty of bars and restaurants. The location is perfect, close to the city centre, and the price wasn’t too high. Our room was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and available for any request. We had a good experience and I absolutely recommend the place.
