YellowSquare Rome

The one thing that bothered me was a strange smell in the toilet. It was cleaned every day, but the odor stuck around, even after I bought something to try to fix it. I still don't know where it came from. Apart from that, I had a great stay. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean and well looked after, including the rooms, kitchen, and common areas. The kitchen had all I needed to cook and was always clean. I liked the shared living room too, with internet and a computer where people could relax and meet other travelers. The staff were kind and helpful. Mateo was especially supportive and even helped me after a pickpocket stole my phone, which I really appreciated. I didn't get a chance to visit the bar, but there were always people around willing to help, and the atmosphere felt friendly. It's a comfortable, social place to meet nice people. I'd still recommend it, and I'm grateful for the great service.

I loved how easy it was to meet people from different countries and hang out together in the common areas. The hostel had a lively, friendly feel that was great for traveling solo, and I felt safe there as a female traveler. It was clean and well organized, too. Getting around was convenient, with the station nearby and major attractions easy to reach. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff were always welcoming and helpful. YellowSquare Rome made my time in Rome much more enjoyable.

The evening free pasta was a nice extra, and there were three showers and three toilets on our floor, so we never had to wait, morning or night. Our four-person room was comfortable, and we had good lockers for our things, though they didn't come with locks. There was a safe for anything really important. No problems at all.

The hostel bar across the street was lovely, and the staff were always friendly. Guests also get a discount, and the free pasta every night was a nice bonus. I had a really good hostel stay and would definitely come back. I'd recommend it to others too.
