The staff made this stay feel wonderful, greeting me like family rather than just a guest. The property is beautiful, with great mountain views, and the spacious rooms are comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, a proper Italian start to the day. I also enjoyed the pool after visiting nearby cities, which were only a quick train ride from Sacile. There’s a bottle shop on site and the wine is delicious. If you stay, be sure to book a tasting with Nicole. The setup was lovely, the meats and cheeses added a nice touch, and she guided our group through a great range of wines. Le Favole is an incredible place to stay and experience. I don’t know when I’ll be back in Northern, Italy, but this is where I’ll stay.

There’s lots of parking, a pool, and great service, and anyone who loves wine will be in paradise here. The beds are comfortable, but too short for me at 1.69m, so my legs stuck out while I slept. The soundproofing could be better too. Everything else was perfect, especially the service.

The staff were kind and helpful, and there’s plenty of well-kept greenery around the beautiful, recently renovated house. The playground and pool behind it are lovely. My room was clean and simple, though very small. It had no fridge or kettle, and the bed was hard and creaky. The busy road in front meant I didn’t sleep well, which was a shame because the room was otherwise cool and dark, just how I need it for sleeping.

Le Favole has some excellent wines from the region. If you have time, drive a short way to their Ristorante Agrituristico Terra Rossa Caneva for a lovely lunch or dinner.

We had a lovely time tasting the prosecco, two white wines, two reds, and a dessert wine. It was so fun and friendly. We also really enjoyed chatting with Julia and hearing how they make their amazing wines.
