The accommodation was great. They helped us with all our questions and gave us the information we needed. 10/10, I recommend it.

For 90 euros a night, this was a miserable “princess suite.” It's up a steep hill with no parking, and the room was quite dirty. The high window couldn't be opened. Breakfast wasn't included, there weren't even two coffee cups, and the mini moka pot and handful of utensils were all we had. There's also a door connecting to other rooms inside the studio and next door, so we could hear everything the neighboring guests were doing, including constant noises inside the apartment. The description didn't mention the tourist tax, and we were made to settle the bill before leaving. Upstairs, a woman had hung dripping laundry by the entrance. To get out, you have to insert a pass that turns everything off. The cleaning lady came in at 9:50 without knocking, though the apartment says checkout is by 10:30 at the latest. This owner is appalling. Shut this dump posing as a studio apartment, or lower the prices!

It's about a half-hour walk from the center of Salerno, so it works well if you like walking, and it's easy to get to. The room was clean and practical. We had an issue with only cold water coming out, but Salvatore, the owner, came over promptly and fixed it. The showerhead could use replacing since the water pressure isn't great, but overall it's a good place to stay. Sonia and Francesco March 2025.
