We even enjoyed the fantastic terrace in late November, though I imagine it’s nicer in the warmer months. The apartment is right in central Salerno, close to the attractions and within walking distance of the train station. It’s furnished with care and taste, and has everything needed for a city stay, including cooking at home. The owners’ kindness and attention to detail made it even better. Highly recommended. The owners were really kind, and the apartment had everything we needed. It was comfortable and practical, with a great location. A beautiful place.

We were just a few meters from the cathedral, the provincial art gallery, and the seafront, which made the location ideal. The apartment was kept in meticulous shape, and the owner was extremely kind. Highly recommended.

The owner was the worst part of the stay. She was rude and arrogant, and yelled on the phone that if we didn't leave by the scheduled time because she had rules, she would kick us out. When we asked for a little more tolerance about the 10 a.m. checkout, she said we had to ask politely and maybe she could make an exception, along with other rude remarks. I don't think guests should be spoken to that way. I've stayed in a thousand places for work and have never been treated worse. Salerno has lovely places that are much more hospitable. She also tried to change the agreed price within half an hour of our arrival. That was handled by phone instead of through the portal, which says a lot about the seriousness and hospitality here. I strongly advise against staying. The apartment itself is very nice and right in the center, but the night was awful. An autoclave kept turning on and off all night, with noise galore, and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was meager too. The photos show a nice breakfast, but what we found was biscuits and a supermarket packaged cake, with no fruit.
