It was nice staying somewhere with a homely feel and character, after spending so much time in chain hotels. The hotel hasn't been overdeveloped or stripped of that character, and it's just a few short steps from town. Our family room was spacious, breakfast had a good selection, and fresh coffee was made to order. The garden at breakfast was a lovely bonus. We needed parking on site, and it wasn't too expensive, though street parking was also available. The receptionists were friendly and very helpful, with excellent English. We ate lunch once at the on-site restaurant, and it was delicious. A lovely taste of authentic Italy.

We only booked this as a stop on the way to Firenze, and now wish we'd stayed longer. The rate was unbeatable. The breakfast was simple but amazing, with bread, rolls, cakes, fresh fruit, juice, coffee made to order, and the best croissants I've ever had. The hotel is small and cozy, right in the center of an authentic, beautiful place. Our room was big and spotless, with a nice bathroom, fridge, TV, and AC. Highly recommended.

The location is unbeatable, and the food is delicious. Staff were attentive and helpful, and made us feel right at home. It's a beautiful hotel with comfortable, quiet rooms and service that deserves 100 out of 10. Absolutely recommended for a relaxing break or a business trip.

I especially loved the phrases on the hotel's interior walls, such a beautiful idea. My favorite is "Nobody can brush my hair best than the wind" (Alda Merini, Italian poetress). The hotel is small and lovely, with large, comfortable rooms and varied, carefully prepared, tasty food. A quiet garden and peaceful street made it perfect for a "recharging battery" weekend.
