The location is great, but the whole place smells bad. No staff member could communicate in English or German, which made things rough, though I probably should have brushed up on my Italian. The breakfast spread looked nice, but there wasn't much variety and it was mostly pastries, so we skipped it.

The outside corridor is lovely, and the location is nice, but the facilities overall weren't great. The breakfast, lunch and dinner facilities were the exception, although the food choices were very limited and not to my taste compared with other hotels. I paid €184 for two nights in July during summer, and my room was extremely small with no refrigerator or view. Maybe they have better rooms, but mine was a really bad experience and didn't feel worth the price. Breakfast was also pathetic. I wouldn't recommend staying here in peak summer.

The room was quiet, but far too small. The building feels vintage, so even though the price was low, it should have been much lower. In the bathroom there was no shower tray, just a hole in the middle of the floor. Water ran straight onto the floor, and only the mat kept me from touching it.

It's fairly cheap and probably suits older people looking for somewhere quiet.
