The hotel has potential, including a pool, but it was unmaintained during my stay. The off-season may affect service quality. Getting in and out also takes care: the entrance is beside a fairly busy road near a curve. There were several maintenance problems in my room: the shower head and remote were taped down, and the window was partly blocked and wouldn’t open. The room wasn’t properly cleaned when I arrived on Sunday, or the next day. Staff said they were short-handed, which I understand, but that didn’t make the service acceptable. Breakfast was missing on both Monday and Tuesday, with no advance notice. Cats wandered freely in the breakfast room, which animal lovers might enjoy, but guests should be told ahead of time out of consideration for everyone. My Booking.com reservation wasn’t showing when I arrived, causing an immediate organizational mix-up. The reception staff also didn’t seem particularly professional. Overall, these organization and maintenance issues made the experience a negative one.
