The grounds are a clear 10/10, with an impeccable garden and an impressive view. The location is absolutely gorgeous. The rooms, though, need work: the furniture is outdated, the bathrooms have problems, and there’s a very strong smell in the living rooms.

There’s no air conditioning, but the thick stone walls and natural ventilation kept the house cool. The host was wonderful, kind and helpful. The interior and room amenities were as advertised on Booking, and there are two lovely terraces, one by each entrance. The scenery is beautiful, and the pool is very nice.

A fantastic place to stay. The rooms are cozy, and the pool area is great both in the daytime and at night. The staff are always welcoming in that Italian way. Loved it.

Wonderful hosts and lovely views, with a real sense of being away from everything. It’s a great place to escape the bustle of urban areas, which is part of why you come to Tuscany in the first place.
