The owner was really friendly. The room was roomy and good value, and being close to San Gimignano meant we didn't have to drive or pay for parking.

A real gem up in the Tuscan hills, with an incredible location and a host to match. I'll definitely come back.
We had a really enjoyable stay. This place feels like a little oasis just below San Gimignano.
The owner was so kind!
Breakfast was generous, with fresh fruit and homemade cakes prepared with care by Mrs. Ornella. We also ate dinner here on our last night, and her handmade Pici with wild boar ragù were fantastic, even better than what we'd had at a well-known restaurant in the village the night before. She made rabbit cacciatore with sautéed vegetables too, followed by fresh zuppa inglese topped with strawberries. The farmhouse stands beside the old road to Poggibonsi, with a truly breathtaking view of the turreted city of San Gimignano. The building's grandeur is hard to forget. “In the footsteps of Dante” is a lovely choice for families with kids, couples wanting to relax, and people who enjoy trekking. We can't wait to return, and would recommend it to everyone.
