B&B Sopra il Portico

The room is very, very small, though it does open onto a large balcony shared with the family who lives there. It's a nice place with a welcoming feel, but the layout seems more suited to a guesthouse than a B&B. Just be aware that these are two rooms in a family home.

Breakfast was the highlight, really abundant and tasty, and the value for money was excellent. We stayed one night in this lovely B&B, arriving through a distinctive entrance under a stone portico, where Francesca welcomed us and handled check-in. There's parking for the B&B, and you can drop luggage nearby. We had the "Il Bosco" room, which comes with a small balcony facing the mountains. It was beautiful. The room is small, with its own bathroom, but had everything we needed.

The place is a stunner, and the overnight rates are very reasonable. I stayed last weekend with my partner. The setting feels almost magical, surrounded by nature and real peace and quiet. It's a 16th-century complex that's been partly renovated while keeping its character and showing off the original architecture: wooden ceilings, large Petra walls, fireplaces, terracotta tiles, and small windows. Our cozy room had everything we needed, and breakfast was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I didn't meet the host in person, only spoke over the phone, but they were kind and helpful. You can tell they care deeply about what they do. Thanks again, highly recommended.

It's a lovely place for woodland walks, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The property seems to be in an old village just outside San Giovanni Bianco. The rooms are spotless, with lovely romantic touches in the furnishings. Although the bathroom is outside the room, it's comfortable and clean too. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and savory choices. A wonderful stay that I'd highly recommend.
