Florida rooms - comfort Hotel

Nothing in the fridge was fresh, and the place was dirty. It was also incredibly noisy at 4 a.m. and again at 9 a.m. I called reception about the noise and they did nothing. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. If I could, I'd rate it minus one star.

We were stuck there for three nights because staff said they couldn't move us or refund us after we reported the problems. The room was hard to find and smelled strongly of damp, with mould on the ceiling. The shower flooded quickly, so I had to step out and wait for the water to drain before continuing. When I turned on the air conditioning, it leaked and ruined my passport. The one helpful thing was that they arranged a taxi for us to leave.

We stayed three nights, and the hotel is a great base for visiting the Vatican and other central sights. Breakfast was really good, and Adrianna was especially helpful with my dietary needs. The rooms were clean and cared for, the bathrooms were reasonable, and we had no problems. This little place is tucked into Prati's shopping district. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable, and the managers or owners seemed involved in many of the hotel's services.

You get what you pay for here: the location is excellent and the price is very low. Rooms are small, and there was fungus in the bathroom. Cleaning happens daily, but there's just one key per room and you have to leave it behind when you go out. Getting back in can be a hassle since you need to call reception each time. The Wi-Fi doesn't reach the rooms, and although breakfast is offered for 5 euros, there are better choices nearby.
