The pool is the best I’ve ever seen, with plenty of space to relax and chill. The whole Hotel feels like an oasis, and the staff are amazing and friendly. They’ll arrange taxis and food delivery to the Hotel, and breakfast was great. I had a cappuccino and pastry each morning. The rooms are very clean, and after 10:00 p.m. the gate and front door are locked for Night Security, with entry by code only. I felt very safe here at this 5 Star Garden Hotel. We’re staying another week and will definitely return when we travel to Catania, Sicily every year. Love the Garden Hotel in La Punta.

Breakfast had a good range of food, and the location near the highway was convenient. The hotel is a bit old, though it does the job, and the wifi barely worked unless I went into the corridor. The pool area felt deserted, with nobody around the pool or staffing the pool bars. Worse, the pool was filthy, full of pigeons and other birds enjoying themselves. So much for keeping it chlorinated. We won’t be back.

The restaurant is the highlight, with excellent taste and quality, and the pizzeria is very good too. The place is comfortable but not luxurious. The decor is super classic and a bit old fashioned, alongside a collection of contemporary art, mostly from late Elena La Verde.

The restaurant was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly, charming, and wonderful. The garden and patio are beautiful, too. The hotel feels a little old-school and could use some refurbishing, and the showers are tiny.

We had a lovely two weeks here. The beds were lovely, and I liked the unique furniture. From the window of 221 there was a great view. Staff were friendly, and the chefs were great. The swimming pool was terrific. A local bus into Catania cost 3.8 euros return, and the city is lovely, with plenty to explore.
