We ordered two more veal steaks in the same sitting because they were that good. The tourist menu is hard to beat for both quality and price, and the staff were friendly and attentive. No need to go elsewhere looking for a better meal or value.

Giuseppe was wonderful, going out of his way to help us on several occasions. This was one of three hotels we stayed at on our Italy vacation, and it turned out to be a great choice. It was clean and safe, and offered meals. I’d gladly book here again if I return to the area.

The sanctuary of Padre PIO is just a 10-minute walk away. Giuseppe and Josef at reception were so friendly and helpful, and Francesco served a lavish tourist menu dinner and breakfast with a smile. We were very happy with the hotel and service. I’d recommend staying here and hope to visit again one day 😊

The chance to learn about Padre Pio, his saintly life and his extraordinary contribution to the Catholic community made the trade-offs worthwhile for me. San Giovanni Ritondo is so much about that spiritual experience that everything else can feel less important. Still, Fini has things to improve. Our room hadn’t been cleaned when we returned at 3 PM from Monte Santangello, though they cleaned it after we asked. After an ordinary shower of no more than 3 minutes, water overflowed in the bathroom. Breakfast was below average too, with one vending-type coffee machine in Italy for dozens of people. It seemed like demand in this small city is so high that there’s little or no pressure to improve service quality.

We were just stopping on the way home after a long trip, not here as pilgrims for the town’s story and Padre Pío. The hotel was very quiet for our one-night stay, and the price was really good for what you get. Breakfast was Italian-standard, and the staff were kind.
