Vito's dinner was a real highlight: delicious, authentic food and generous portions for the price. Just let someone know the evening before if you'd like to eat there the next night. Thanks, Vito, it was lovely meeting you. I still don't know how you keep all the evening's tasks going at once! The campsite is surrounded by lovely nature and animals. Lucca is easy to reach by train, and you can get to Pisa by bus 70 or by train. The next station is a 15-20 minute walk along the road.

We spent four days here and felt right at ease. There’s plenty of greenery and flowers, plus hammocks and loungers in the quiet relaxation area. Our camper pitch had a partial fence that gave us a little extra privacy, and the friendly staff and campsite animals made the place feel welcoming. The showers run on tokens, with four minutes per token, but we got used to that quickly. We’d gladly return.

We stayed a night in a tent and had a really pleasant time. Breakfast was good, though I wished there had been some lighter choices without sugar. The kids especially enjoyed seeing the animals. A good stay overall.

Ombretta and Chiara made us feel at home straight away, so warmly hospitable. I spent the night in a very clean wooden cabin with its own bathroom and hot shower. Meals were in the garden, with the cat and Mia the chicken nearby, and the fresh, tasty food was typically Italian. This was just a stop during our travels, but I’ll definitely come back with my family.

We’ll definitely come back. The garden with its jacuzzi and hammocks would be lovely to enjoy in spring, summer or autumn, though the place is open in winter too. There are so many animals here, including happy pigs, donkeys, a pony, a dog and lots of free-roaming chickens.
