Le Querce di Campolungo

The location is the best part: beautiful nature and a great escape from modern life. Just watch the road, it's unpaved, and it's better to come via Cospaia. The room felt cramped. There was no armchair for sitting or reading, just the bed, a large wardrobe, and a dresser taking up nearly all the space. We also had a bad sewer smell, though maybe we were unlucky. I chose the place because the description made the breakfast sound exceptional, but it didn't suit my taste, perhaps because I'd expected too much. There was hardly any savory food, eggs only on request, a few slices of one kind of cheese, and no ham or bacon. The sweet options were more plentiful, but the yogurt and jams came in tubs. I expected better. Thanks anyway for the hospitality.

I wanted somewhere in nature, away from the bustle, where I could find some peace and clear my head with a dip in a lovely pool. That's exactly what I found 🤩. The owners were wonderfully welcoming and helpful, and it's a really pleasant place to recharge, even for just a few hours. If you like, you can also have freshly made lunch or dinner while listening to the cicadas this summer. I'll come back as soon as I can. Thank you.

Four days just wasn't enough, we would happily have stayed much longer. It's good for a few days and phenomenal for a few weeks. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the food was fantastic, all homemade by Jessica and her parents with help from the lovely little Celeste. We had total relaxation, a clean pool surrounded by nature, and people ready to help with anything we needed. We'll be back. Best wishes from Spain.
