A handy hotel for motorcyclists heading to Timmelsjoch. We found the rooms clean, and the receptionist greeted us warmly and was helpful. Breakfast came with the stay, though it wasn't anything special. If I'm in the area again, I'd stay here.

The location is great, but our room felt dated and had carpet. The bathroom had old-fashioned fittings and no bidet. Breakfast was included, though it wasn't as good as I'd usually expect at places like this: coffee and milk came from a vending machine, there was no toaster, and the other items were supermarket quality. We paid €65 per person for three nights before the August bank holiday.
We were travelling from Verona and expected to arrive around 8:30 PM. We contacted the hotel beforehand to say we'd be half an hour or 40 minutes past the check-in deadline. They said they had no intention of waiting for us and showed very little willingness to help. In the end, they said they wouldn't accept us as guests and told us to look somewhere else. Rude and unprofessional. I really don't recommend it.
The owner runs this small guesthouse himself, and he was extremely friendly and easy to get along with. The breakfast selection was excellent. As a motorcyclist, I found the location ideal, and there was covered parking for my bike. For dinner, he suggested Brückenwirt, just a five-minute walk away. I can recommend it too, I've rarely had such good spaghetti carbonara.
