B&B Corte dei Figuli

The breakfast was a treat, with plenty of sweet and savory choices each day. The host brought fresh pastries from the local bakery every morning, and juices, yogurt, and fruit were available throughout our stay. The accommodation was beautifully decorated with lots of thoughtful details, and it was kept very clean. We were traveling outside the holiday season, so the breakfast spread was just for us. The service was incredibly friendly, and the host was always happy to help. On our first evening, we were shown the way to the restaurant. On our last night, a Saturday, we hadn't realized we needed to book ahead and everywhere seemed full. Three people, including a family guest, called around and quickly found us a table at a really good pizzeria, then drove us there so we could find it easily. A 10 rating doesn't feel like enough for this place.

The rooms are lovely, and the pool is a nice extra. There's also a clothesline area, a shared guest fridge, and coffee and tea available anytime. The place was spotless, and the owner and family were lovely. Breakfast was great, mostly sweet things and pretty sugary, but you can get boiled eggs too. The owner even made grilled cheese and ham in the toaster. A great little find.

The setting is peaceful, with spots outside or by the pool where you can sit with a coffee. The coffee was especially good, and I'm a big coffee drinker. Breakfast was laid out on the table with some amazing food, and the fridge was always stocked with cold, refreshing drinks. The place is very clean and has its own distinctive feel. I've traveled quite a lot, and this is one of the few places I'd rate a full 5.0. Thanks for such a wonderful stay, I really enjoyed it.

The location makes it easy to reach the main spots around SALENTO in about 30 minutes, including Brindisi airport, Porto Cesareo, Maglie, Santa Maria di leuca, Galipoli, and Lecce. The cost is 70-100 €. The rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and traditional LECESE style. Cleaning was exceptional, and the family running the place was amazingly friendly, treating guests like precious friends and doing their best for them. There's a small spa area with two pools. The indoor pool is heated and has a jacuzzi and a strong jet for a good water massage. Outside, the pool is surrounded by plants and comfortable deckchairs. There's a small sauna too. Breakfast is generous, with sweet and savory options, including local pastries made at home by the owners.
