San Quirico d’Orcia has lovely restaurants, cafes, and shops, and there's a co-op within walking distance for food, water, wine, and other things. La Scala 1572 is on a quiet, lovely street, with a free public car park behind the building, down a flight of stairs and across the road. The apartment had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay, and it was a perfect starting point for our Tuscan vacation. The owner didn't meet us, unfortunately, but kept in touch to check that all was well. We highly recommend La Scala 1572.

Carola was attentive, always available if we needed anything, and her hospitality made the stay unforgettable. La Scala 1572 is quiet and right in the historic center, with free parking nearby. Inside, the spacious rooms were spotlessly clean, and the entrance hall had a well-stocked kitchen and a wonderful fireplace. Traces of history give the beautiful apartment its character. San Quirico and the Val d'Orcia are stunning, and it's a real bonus to have La Scala 1572 as a base for exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Carola and Angelo were always on hand with information and suggestions about places to visit. La Scala 1572 has a real soul, and we left with full hearts. It was a lovely, relaxing home base for trips around the Val d'Orcia. I especially liked the spacious, renovated rooms and their tasteful furnishings, as well as the fully equipped kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, bathrobes, and hairdryers. Truly a beautiful stay, well worth it. Full marks!
