We had a really good stay. The place was spotless and peaceful, and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. One night at midnight we couldn’t get the front door open, and the owner came straight over to help despite the late hour. Mrs. Rita was wonderful and generous. She brought us breakfast as soon as we sat down each morning. It wasn’t a huge spread, but everything was delicious, and she always made us feel comfortable. I’m allergic to cats, and everyone respected that, shooing them away whenever they came near. Thank you, we’ll definitely return. Our room had a few small drawbacks. The window opened onto a passageway, so we kept the shutters closed. Without a mosquito net, insects like bees and mosquitoes got in quickly, which meant there wasn’t much air circulating. The dark wall colors also made the room feel a little gloomy. On the plus side, the bathroom was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the simple location among the greenery was lovely and convenient, about ten minutes from San Teodoro. We appreciated getting clean towels every day and having the bed and room made up each day too.
