I wasn't happy with the service during our one night at this villa. The room quality didn't justify the high nightly price. Although the beach is visible from the balcony, getting down to it isn't free: you have to go through a restaurant and buy something. I also expected the bikes to be included based on the website and the price, but they cost extra to rent. I hope the owner takes these points into account and makes improvements.

Getting to the shops and restaurants was easy, since the hotel sits right by the bike and walking path. We also felt safe coming back after 23:00, even after a wonderful dinner. The hotel has just four rooms, and the service was exceptional. Every room has an amazing beach view, and our room was nicely updated, with AC and two French doors for fresh air. Breakfast was included, with typical European fare. I had two delicious cappuccinos. The host didn't speak much English, but we managed. The rate worked perfectly for our budget and the time of year. Parking seemed tricky at first, though it turned out to be straightforward and secure. The gates use RFID key cards to enter and leave. If I return to Sanremo, I'd stay here again.

The terrace was lovely, with a fantastic view right over the sea, and everything was very clean. Our host was incredibly warm and friendly, smiling and making us feel at home straight away. She didn't speak English, but we understood each other just fine. Breakfast had fresh juice, ham, cheese, toast, croissants and baguette with jam, plus strawberry yoghurt.

The view and location were wonderful, and breakfast was spectacular. We stayed at Villa Rita in May 2016 and found it a very clean, comfortable place to unwind. Thanks for the great hospitality. The view was nice, but the location wasn't so great. The bed was so old and saggy that I had to sleep on the floor.
