The grounds are lovely and meticulously kept, and the rooms are spacious. Staff were friendly and very helpful, and there’s a small shop with their olive oil, pottery, and other local goods. We ate well at the restaurant, where the food was nicely prepared and portions were generous, so there was no need to order too much. With a rental car, we could reach nearly anywhere on the island within 90 minutes and visit nearby towns for inexpensive fresh meals. A real gem if you want to stay outside the city, near Mt Etna and other sights.

The gardens were huge, and our children happily spent hours playing there. We were also impressed by how accommodating the staff were: they booked a restaurant for Sunday lunch and helped arrange a private guide for our climb up Mt Etna. The restaurant made a real effort to prepare traditional Sicilian food for our vegetarian group. Set on the foothills of Mt Etna, it’s an ideal base for seeing the volcano. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms functional, and the original buildings have been carefully preserved, giving the place a sense of history. Highly recommended if you want to immerse yourself in Mama Etna.

The property has real charm, and the staff seemed friendly and helpful, but it badly needs refurbishment. Everything looks worn, especially the bathroom. There was no shower enclosure, just a small, dirty IKEA curtain. I would normally rate a place like this one star. They need to invest in the rooms and make them more comfortable for guests.

OUR WEDDING DAY We had a picture in our minds of how our wedding should feel, and Case Perrotta brought it all to life. Valentina helped us through the months of planning, and without her it wouldn’t have been such a brilliant day. Dinolfo was a huge help too, along with all the staff who made the occasion so special. The ceremony and reception were handled beautifully, from the decorations to the food. The atmosphere was amazing and the meal was fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for more, and would recommend Case Perrotta to anyone. Thank you for making everything so easy and creating a day we’ll never forget.
