The garden is lovely, and there’s a nice swimming pool, though it was a bit cold when we were there in September, which probably had to do with the days of our stay. Monica was easy to reach and helpful. The modern apartment was spacious, and everything worked as it should, which we haven’t found to be standard at other places. I can’t think of anything negative.

We found Il Casale di Monacella in Santa Venerina peaceful, tucked into nature, and a great base for seeing the region, especially Mount Etna and the nearby coast. The apartment was charming, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished, balancing rustic character with modern comfort. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. I had an unforgettable stay and hope to return soon. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxing, authentic Sicilian experience.

The view in the morning is hard to describe, you really have to see it for yourself. This is a fantastic place, modern, spotless, and equipped with everything you need. It sits in a charming, quiet village while still being close to everything in the area. Monica was so helpful and went out of her way to make sure our stay was just right. Monica was a lovely host, always ready to help, and you can tell she and her husband have put a lot of work into the place. The garden is beautiful, and the saltwater pool is wonderful, especially for kids with irritation problems. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. We loved it and will definitely come back. It's just a perfect place!

The grounds are peaceful, beautifully landscaped, and clearly well cared for. The apartments are lovely, with great attention to detail, and Monica was friendly and quick to respond. It's also suitable for wheelchair users. A wonderful spot in the foothills of Mount Etna.
