The food was incredible, and the location made it easy to get to several hiking spots. They also had information about possible routes. We were here for an event and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable. There may not be extras like a pool or sauna, but when you're in this area, those usually aren't the main thing.

There are plenty of trails from here to the peaks, valleys, and villages around the Sarentino area, so it's a handy base for hiking. The house itself is clean and cozy, and the couple looking after it are very nice. Meals are served twice a day: a breakfast buffet, then Italian and South Tyrolean food, with cake in the afternoon.

The rest of the property looked okay and seemed to have been renovated, which made our attic room all the more disappointing. It was tiny, worn, and very old, and we had to haul our heavy bags up to the third floor. The place was mostly empty, yet this is where they put us. It felt like a room for relatives you don't like. Our tour operator arranged the stay, and our event was in Sarnthein, 17 km away. I wouldn't give that room two stars. I would never have chosen this place myself, and I'm very disappointed with the accommodation. Given the choice, I'd leave right now.
