Antica Dimora Country House

After eight years, I came back to Sarnano with my family. We have a small house there that was damaged by the earthquake, but Mrs. Brunella's hospitality made it possible for us to have an extraordinary week. It was a relaxing place in an excellent location. I hope to come back soon.

The apartment was simple, very nice, clean, and had everything we needed. The surrounding nature made for a beautiful backdrop and a lovely sense of calm. Thanks to the owner, whose hard work and passion have become a strength, bringing value to this troubled, often overlooked area of unspoiled beauty and authenticity.

The green grounds are beautiful and well kept, with fruit trees and lots of flowers. There's a pool with loungers, a shower, and a shaded area, plus yoga classes, barbecue facilities, and tables for eating outdoors. Wonderful cats roam around and fit right into the comings and goings of people. For me, they make the place perfect. We stayed for a week in one of the apartments. The property has been renovated beautifully while keeping the feel of an old rustic house, and the apartments have what you need for a comfortable stay. There's no air conditioning, but the evenings are cool enough that it isn't needed. The antique wooden doors between rooms have no keys or handles. They close, but a gust of wind can open one a crack, so using the bathroom might feel awkward if you're sharing with people you don't know. The location is a very convenient base for exploring nearby places, and just a few kilometers from central Sarnano, where you can find all the essential services. Mrs. Brunella was very kind and helpful. She keeps a discreet presence and respects guests' privacy, but is always ready with suggestions for things to do and see. We traveled with two dogs and were welcomed warmly. I definitely recommend the property and Mrs. Brunella.

The large garden, pool, and mountain views made for a wonderfully relaxing weekend at the ancient residence. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, top notch. Everything was perfect, and I'd gladly return.
