B&B Salerno

The rooms were super comfortable and exceptionally clean, and the owners were friendly. There’s a wide choice of nearby attractions, including Naples, Salerno, the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, and Caserta, some of the most spectacular places in the South. We’ll definitely be back.

The room felt claustrophobic, had no soundproofing, and ants got in. There was no privacy, and the terrace was shared. We were promised a private bathroom and air conditioning when we sent the deposit, but after we paid the balance on arrival, we found the bathroom was shared and the air conditioning was broken. The days were scorching, and at night the heat and mosquitoes made it impossible to sleep. Nobody was called to repair the air conditioning, and they didn’t even give us a fan. To make things worse, management mocked us throughout the stay. Avoid.

They turned down my booking for no reason. Well, they first accepted it, then cancelled when I was already on my way. They told me, “like you said,” that the room wasn’t available. Hmm. Should I call the property and say, “You have a room that isn’t available?” Crazy, really. Luckily we found another wonderful B&B with a fantastic attic, beautiful rooms, and a killer breakfast on Via Fontanelle. It felt like being on the Amalfi Coast! In the end, they did us a favor 😊😊😊

There’s a balcony with a view, and the room is spacious. The place is welcoming and clean, with friendly, helpful hosts. It’s perfect for sleeping well and keeping cool. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back.
