The garden out back is beautiful, with comfortable seats and a shaded spot. Dog lovers may get to meet Massimiliano’s lovely German Shepherd, who’s happy to be petted and cuddled. There’s another dog too, though we didn’t meet that one. When we arrived, the dogs were outside barking at the gate. We love dogs, but it was a little unnerving at first. Massimiliano put them on leashes and took them inside before opening the gate. Inside, everything was quiet and calm, and the garden made for a relaxing place to sit. The B&B is part of a large home in a commercial area that grew up around Massimiliano’s family home, beside a somewhat busy road. Walking into the town center means taking extra care on a stretch without sidewalks. It’s doable, but you have to watch the traffic. Our room had a very comfortable king size bed with fresh linens and towels. The large, well-equipped washroom was across the hall. The shower had fantastic water pressure and what seemed like unlimited hot water, easily the best one we’ve had on this trip. Breakfast was generous: hot spinach and ricotta rolls, cold cuts, cheese, croissant, cold cereal, yogurt, excellent cappuccino, and juice. Massimiliano was a gracious host, and we had a long conversation after breakfast. He also very kindly drove us to the train station when one of us developed a nasty blister on one foot. Great value for money, definitely recommended.

Massimo was such a helpful host, and we really enjoyed using the pool in the hot weather. The place was spotless, and breakfast was a delight. I can’t fault anything and will definitely visit again.

I spent five nights at B&B Aria while looking after a loved one in the nearby hospital. The owners made the stay much easier with their warm welcome and kindness, and the spaces were clean and pleasant. Being close to the hospital was a real advantage. I’m also grateful for how flexible and understanding they were as the plans for my stay kept changing with the medical staff’s daily recommendations. Thank you.

A terrible experience. We booked in June and received confirmation for the accommodation we had chosen, but a WhatsApp message arrived in the early afternoon on our arrival day sending us to a different property, far from the city center in an isolated area. The room there was modest and had no bathroom inside, though we were given an outside bathroom for our exclusive use. We had to use our car to get around. If we’d been told about the change when the booking was confirmed, we could have chosen somewhere else. After we complained, the price was reduced substantially, but that wasn’t what we wanted. We’d hoped to enjoy the festival without this hassle.
