B&B La Perla - Chic Accommodation

I’ve stayed here twice, with three years between visits. The manager was kind and flexible, letting me into my room before check-in, and she clearly explained the few house rules. The room is large, with new furnishings, though the style isn’t really to my taste. Cleaning is almost meticulous. The private bathroom is roomy and comfortable, and there’s a flat-screen TV with Netflix. The room also has air conditioning. Wi-Fi can be slow and sometimes drops out, but it comes back after a few seconds. The breakfast kitchen is well equipped with a coffee machine, microwave, and refrigerator, and each guest has their own table. There are homemade cakes and fruit, plus packaged cookies and croissants. On my last visit three years ago, breakfast included more than one coffee pod, over half a liter of milk, and fresh pastries. I liked that better and hope the manager returns to that earlier breakfast style. Breakfast can also feel uncomfortable when the owner serves you and stays with you. In the morning, I’d rather have some quiet time to eat and relax. Check-out at 10 am is also too early; it should be extended to at least 12 am. The price is very high, but quality costs money. For me, the quality for the cost is still excellent, as are the room cleaning and the owners’ kindness. It’s one of the top B&Bs, and I’d recommend it.

I’ve stayed in a lot of places, and this is one of the best. Everything was very clean and in its place. Communication was good from the start, before I arrived, and she later suggested some restaurants and places to see in Alghero. I felt comfortable here and would definitely recommend it.

A good location, and nicer than I expected.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the place was spotlessly clean with a modern look. Breakfast was really good, both for the quality and the amount of food.
